Festive Style Tips & Tricks
The festive season is just around the corner. And it is indeed the best time to flaunt the desi diva in you. Here are some styling tips &tricks to make the event a fashionable affair for you.
Take A Plunge
Make a fashion statement with deep neck blouses or plunging cholis. Make sure you pick the right bra neckline to avoid ugly bra peeks. Demi-cup bras work well with deep necks and a plunge bra is a must-have for ultra-deep or plunging V-necklines.
Go Backless
Flaunt your back with backless cholis, halter neck or noodle strap blouses. Pair these sexy numbers with a transparent shoulder & back strap bra. You could also ditch your traditional bra and try the latest stick-on bras. Using low back converters with your ordinary bra to is also a great idea to get a perfect backless look.
Off the edge
Off-shoulders are in again, you can opt for something like an off-shoulder choli with a lehenga. This will look chic and at the same time traditional as well. Pick a strapless bra to go with your look, underwired ones will help you get that perfect shape with just a gentle lift.
No Muffins Please
No more muffin-tops on your favourite lehenga. Go for high-waist lower belly/tummy smoothing panties that tuck in the love handles giving a more appealing silhouette.
Curvy & Sexy
With cholis that flaunt heavy work on the chest, you may get a flat bust look. Go for padded, push-up bras to get a better lift and shape. A push-up bra can enhance the perceived bust size of the wearer and it will result in a more feminine and curvy silhouette
Shape of You
Want those perfect curves in the right places? The secret is a firm shapewear made of breathable fabric which will give you a smooth finish under clothes and help you flaunt a great figure. You can also opt for a Saree shapewear under your lehngas or wear it like a petticote with your Saree to rock the Desi look.
Hair Do
To beat the heat in style, go in for a fishtail braid, vintage curls, or a bun with a pouf instead of leaving your hair open. This is also a great way of showing off your earrings. This season try the trending traditional jhumkas, chandbalis, matha pattis.
Best Foot Forward
As you would need to move around a lot or dance, you must not be wearing those painful, uncomfortable heels. Wear traditional juttis that are comfortable enough for dancing. You could also try no-show sock liners to keep your feet dry and save from new shoe-bites.
Shrug it Off
If you aren’t into those heavy traditional suits, lenghas or sarees. A fun and trendy way of dressing up is with a pair of your favourite denim with an embroidered jacket and some silver jewellery. This chic yet comfy look is perfect for Diwali card parties.
With all these styling tips, make sure that you turn heads this Festive Season
