Diving into the blog, let’s discuss what to wear instead of a bra. The simplest answer is – nothing. After all, that’s the whole point of why we are here, isn’t it? So what then because we certainly go around without it all the time! Below are some hacks that could help you out here:

1. The Share of Hair

We don’t love our hair for nothing. From elevating our looks and adding a spark to our confidence, they also turn out to be our saviours at times, especially when you decide to unleash those babies free. Open your long hair and thoroughly and spread them in a way that your nipples get concealed and you are good. (P.s. Keep them in check – your breasts and hair)

2. Bad Posture for Good

Straighten your back and sit straight, girl! This posture isn’t taking you anywhere. But is there a silver lining in this terrible posture? Perhaps. I often do this so maybe you could give it a try as well…? When you are in that mood when you are not wearing a bra but want to protect your modesty, let this bad posture be the good one. Finally, the slouching could come in handy, huh?

3. It’s Okay Being Weird

Proceeding further, tell me something. Is it important to wear a bra even when you feel uncomfortable and in turn, underconfident because of it sometimes? We may need to compromise sometimes but you don’t have to burden yourself with this norm all the time. Weird as it may appear to many, it’s alright. In fact, being weird may even help you when you are not wearing a bra. Positioning your hands weirdly in front of yourself to cover up your breasts might actually be the best representation of how weirdness is helpful!

Imagine you are braless and want to keep yourself protected from the weird eye of everyone, especially your mum’s scolding. Here comes the first idea of overlaying clothes! Just kidding, or not…. Whatever. It’s quite a trend to wear baggy clothes today. Justifiably so. But did you know that those loose clothes could also be of much help when your girls are on the loose, I mean when you are braless? Well, they can somewhere cover up the space and with a few adjustments here and there once in a while, you are good to go! Plus, you could also try thick clothes as they would create a “shield” for your breasts.

8. Layer Yourself Up

I know you probably wouldn’t like this idea, especially in Summers. But you can most certainly use this hack in Winters. Two of the disadvantages of not wearing a bra in cold weather are having a headlight effective on your nipples and pain in the breasts and related areas because of constrained blood flow. So, just layer yourself up with certain clothes like a jacket, hoody, or shawl and your protected against the cruel Winter while not having the obligation to wear a bra!

9. Hugs Have Become Better

We all need a hug sometimes, don’t we? What if I told you that you could actually use a hug when you are braless? Okay, just hear me out. When you are not wearing a bra but still want to play along and protect yourself, you can give a plushy, pillow, bag, cushion, book or any such item a hug. Result? You won’t seem awkward and be comfortable all while letting no one know your little secret!

10. Technical Help

I know you came all the way to get some witty hacks on what to do when you are not wearing a bra. But isn’t it alright to get some “technical” help? What I am talking about here are bra replacements like boob tape, stick-on bras, or pasties. They might prove to be much more comfortable for some because they in a way don’t apply some restraint on your breasts.

Now, this bonus hack is your last resort when you want to protect your girlies from being seen with a bra but still don’t want to wear one. Though I think you will not given the circumstances that you fail to use any of the above-mentioned hacks, you can use this one. For this, always keep a strapless bra handy. They are quick to wear and remove. Grab, snap, adjust, and you’re wearing it. Snap, grab, remove, and you’re not wearing it anymore.
